Lakepointe Church
Called to pastor Lakepointe Church shortly after its founding in 1979, Steve led the congregation that has grown from 53 in attendance at its inception to more than 13,000 in-person attendance each week at 8 Dallas campuses. After 40 years, Steve transitioned to a supportive role at Lakepointe, and provides coaching and consulting for church and business leaders worldwide through his consulting business, Strategic Resources Coaching.
Under his leadership, Lakepointe has started 90 churches in under-churched areas across North America and eventually birthed the Strategic Launch Network, a non-profit 5013C, which continues to fufill that vision under Steve’s leadership.
Steve is the author of 4 books: It Starts at Home; Tribal Church; Money Matters in Church; Leading by Letting Go.
